About Bali Pass Trek

Bali Pass a grandeur mesmerizing trek in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, it goes through the famous places of the Himalayas. The first one being Yamunotri Dham, one of the Chaar Dhaam yatra, followed by it is Har ki Doon valley then Ruinsara lake and Osla village. Known for direct spectacles of Swargrohini, Kala Nag(Black Peak) and Bandarpoonch peaks, this trek is literally a stairway to heaven.  The pass offers a 360-degree view of Swargarohini, Banderpooch and Garhwal peaks.
Through this trek, one gets to relish the adventure as well as the ancient Himalayan Culture, Mountain villages and stunning valleys. The trail goes through old village life like, Osla, Taluka, Seema considered as ancient rural villages of the Tons Valley. Debshu Bugyal, just like any alpine meadows, this enhances the beauty of the Bali pass trek. It also completes the trek in all terms. Ruinsara Tal adds the magical flavor to this trek. It is a magnifying source of beauty that reflects everything around it with a filter of magnificence. The climax is the summit climb to Bali pass which is always snow-packed during the month of pre monsoon (May-June)
Bali pass trek is for those who wish to hike to different and less travelled paths. Even though it is difficult it's every step is worth it. It challenges us in every way through drastically changing terrains, from beautiful villages to valleys and then amazingly beautiful glacial lakes to ascend to the mountain pass, narrow paths, dangerous descend, long hours of walking. 

A high altitude pass meant for all the trekkers who want to upgrade to some challenges in mountains, with some amazing grandeur beauty. Variation in scenery considering the fact that it starts in Sankri & ends at Janki Chatti. A visit to Yamunotri Temple, source of Yamuna River. And above all gets you close up with lofty Kala Nag, Banderpooch & Swargarohini Peaks.

Reporting at Dehradun, then drive to Sankri. On arrival in Sankri, briefing and registration to be completed by every trekkers and participants. Spend the evening time in Sankri. Overnight stay at Homestay.

After early morning breakfast drive to Taluka, then trek to Seema which is approximately 12KMs. The trail is mostly gradual ascent with Supin River flowing side by it and one could spot Osla village at its opposite. Trail runs through deodar trees, Bamboo, wild roses, irises and chestnut Overnight stay at camp.

After morning breakfast,trek to Rainbasera of altitude 3,100m. of distance 10km, the trail is Moderate to gradual ascent and descent. One witnesses the confluence of Har Ki Dun and Ruinsara rivers. And magnificent view of Black Peak (Kala Nag) from Debshu Bugyal. Trail runs along with the Ruinsara river. Overnight stay in camp.

After morning breakfast, trek to Ruinsara Tal, which is at an altitude of 3,600m. of distance 7 km. The trail is of moderate ascent. The beautiful Ruinsara Taal is surrounded by meadows and rhododendron bushes. from where one could view Yamuna Kanta (the pass which takes you to Yamunotri), Banderpoonch Peak, Dhumdhar Kandi, Black Peak (Kala Nag) and White Peak. Overnight stay at Camp.

After breakfast, trek to Odari, of Altitude 4,000m with distance of 4km, with steep ascent. One could view Swargarohini peak through out. Trekkers should carry enough water for the trail, since today there are very limited source of water. It is believed that Bali ( Lord Hanuman's brother) stayed in Odari for one night. Overnight stay at camp. 

After early morning breakfast trek to Bali pass base camp, which lies at an altitude of 4,600m with a distance of 5 km, but the trail today is steep and technical ascent, through the mountain ridge. And one must be careful to walk on the mountain ridge. Overnight stay at camp.

After early morning breakfast trek to Lower Dhamni via Bali Pass, at an altitude of 4,900m. Today is the important day with distance of 14km with Steep and technical ascent of 1-1.5 hours till the Bali Pass. Once you reach the summit, one could get grandeur views of Bandarpoonch, Kalanag (Black Peak), Ruinsara and Yamuntori side. After Bali pass, the trail is entirely descent. Overnight stay in camp.

After early morning breakfast trek to Jaan ki Chatti of distance 8km, the trail is entirely easy and descent. Either packed lunch or once the team reaches Jan Ki Chatti, then drive to Dehradun station/ISBT  Driving time to Dehradun may increase due to of heavy traffic. Make your further travel plan from Dehradun after 8:00 pm. Or one can opt to stay in Dehradun at their own cost.

Booking Policy:

To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid seven days prior to the starting date

One can pay the amount online(Net Banking, GPay, UPI ID). 

Details to be shared on request.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days before the trek date, full refund of the paid amount

  • 15 days before the trek date, 50% refund of the paid amount.

  • Cancellation less than 15days to the start date of the trek, no refund possible

  • In case Himalayan Passion cancels the trek or trip, full refund will be paid.

  • One has option to send another person on their behalf.
