Har Ki Dun, The valley of Shiva, where "Har"- is referred to bhagwan Shiva, and "Dun"- Stands for valley is a grandeur mesmerizing trek in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, it goes through the famous places of the Himalayas. The first one being Pawani Garat,Seema,Osla, followed by it is Har ki Doon valley then it continues to on the right side of the valley to Ruinsara lake and Osla village. Known for direct spectacles of Swargrohini, Kala Nag(Black Peak) and Bandarpoonch peaks, this trek is literally a stairway to heaven. The Har Ki Dun valley offers a magnificent view of Swargarohini, Banderpooch and Kalanag one of the famous Garhwal peaks.
Through this trek, one gets to relish the adventure as well as the ancient Himalayan Culture, Mountain villages and stunning valleys. The trail goes through old village life like, Osla, Taluka, Seema considered as ancient rural villages of the Tons Valley. Debshu Bugyal, just like any alpine meadows, this enhances the beauty of the Har Ki Dun trek. It also completes the trek in all terms. It is a magnifying source of beauty that reflects everything around it with a filter of magnificence. trek. The Har Ki Dun is a cradled shaped valley situated below the Swargarohini peak in the lap of Western Himalayas. One can see very closely Swargorohini Peak I, II and III. This trek is very much picturesque, you find everything in this trek, like beautiful Himalayan Village with well crafted work on wood, River, Alpine meadows, Mountain, Glacier. This trek situated in the Uttarakashi district. This trek whole year trek and everyone can do this trek. Best for beginner as well as seasoned trekker. You can experience snow in December to March. One could opt to explore Marinda Taal, and Jaundhar Glacier, also called "Yamdwar Glacier". It is believed that Pandavas tried their journey to heaven through this trail.

Reporting at Dehradun, then drive to Sankri. On arrival in Sankri, briefing and registration to be completed by every trekkers and participants. Spend the evening time in Sankri. Overnight stay at Homestay.
After early morning breakfast drive to Taluka, then trek to Seema which is approximately 12KMs. The trail is mostly gradual ascent with Supin River flowing side by it and one could spot Osla village at its opposite. Trail runs through deodar trees, Bamboo, wild roses, irises and chestnut Overnight stay at camp.
Seema/Oslo to Har Ki Doon (12 KM, 6 hr, 11785 ft)
After heaving breakfast we start our trek. First we cross terraced farms then bridge built on Rupin River a short but steep ascend and finally reach to Kalkatiyadhar. From here Har Ki Dun valley which just 4 KM
away is clearly visible. We take short rest here, enjoy refreshment and marched ahead. Rest of the trail till Har Ki doon which is steep ascend but at the same time we get mesmerizing view of Kalang (black
peak) and Bandarpoonch ranges which give energy. Finally arrive at Har Ki Dun valley. Overnight stay at camp.
Har Ki Doon explore:-
Today morning very special when we see the Sun first ray touch the Mt. Swargarohini at it’s top. This is an amazing view you can’t forget in your life. Here you have two option for exploration either you choose Jaundar Glacier which 4 KM away on northeast side of Valley or Marinda Lake which is 2 KM away. Overnight Stay in tent.
Har Ki Doon to Ruinsara Tal (12 KM, 6-7 hrs, 8280 ft)
Trek through dense forests, open meadows, and along the Supin River to reach the stunning Ruinsara Tal, an alpine lake surrounded by peaks like Kalanag and Bandarpunch. Ruinsara Tal is a tranquil, secluded spot and is considered sacred by the local villagers.
Overnight Stay: Camping near Ruinsara Tal.
Ruinsara Tal to Osla Trek Distance: 16 km (6-7 hours)
Retrace your steps through the same beautiful route, passing meadows, dense forests, and mountain streams. Stay in the scenic village of Osla, where you can interact with the locals and experience their unique culture. Overnight Stay: Camping in Osla.
Osla to Taluka and Drive to Sankri, Distance: 13 km (4-5 hours) + Drive 12 KM
Descend through the same route back to Taluka. Enjoy the drive back to Sankri and relax after the trek. Enjoy the evening in Sankri.
Overnight Stay: Guesthouse in Sankri.
Sankri to Dehradun drive, Drive Distance: 200 km (8-10 hours)
Drive back to Dehradun through the scenic Garhwal landscape via Purola, Naitwar. We will leave you to Dehradun Railway station. Plan your return journey after 8-9 PM. Our journey and service ends here, leave only footprints and sweet Himalayan memories of Uttarakhand.

To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid seven days prior to the starting date
