About Phokteydara Singalila Phalut Trek

A natural mountain balcony lying at an altitude of 13000ft provides an amazing view of High Peaks of the world, the roof of the world Mt. Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Chomolanzo, Baruntse, Chamlang, and The mighty Sleeping Buddha comprising of Mt. Kumbhakarna, Kokthang, Rathong, Frey, Kabru South, Kabru North, Yalungkang, KhanchenDzonga, Kabru Dome, Goecha, Simvo and Pandim. The trail passes through the green jungles, waterfalls and through the Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary, where the trekkers are amazed at the beauty of Mainebass waterfalls, The campsites on the meadows acts like a natural Balcony on the mountainside, where a person is bound to lose himself/herself in the beauty of the Himalayas. The Phokteydara Top, which is accessed at the early morning hike at around 4:00 AM. leaves the trekkers and mountain lovers spell bounded, the change in colours of the amazing mountains from Blue to Orange, then Golden Yellow to White keeps the travelers amused, and one might not want to leave the spot for it will become the dream place, which will always beckon the mountain lovers forever. The Offbeat least popular trail of Sikkim has varieties of Rhododendron during it seasonal time that is March April. If one is lucky, could spot Red Panda, the State animal of Sikkim. Winter in Phokteydara is a bit challenging for its extreme chilling wind, the temperature drops around -7 degrees to -5 degrees at night during the winter months. Best Time for PhokteyDara Singalila Phalut  is January to April, then end of September to December.

Reporting at NJP. Drive to Uttarey through Namchi, Pelling. Overnight stay at Homestay. Complete the Registration and demonstration to be given by the Trek Leader. Explore the beautiful Uttarey village in the evening.

After the Breakfast Trek to Achalley Dara.(5kms) Overnight stay at camp. Enjoy the view of KhanchenDzonga. 

After morning breakfast, trek to Kalijhar via ThuloDhaap (7kms.).Experience the natural balcony of the Kalijhar. Overnight stay at camp. Enjoy the amazing evening and witness the sunset over Sleeping Buddha

Get ready at dawn at around 4 AM and Hike to PhokteyDara Top. Experience the amazing Sunrise on the High Peaks of the world. Return to Kalijhar. After breakfast trek to Phalut via Singalila top crossing the Singalila Ridge (12kms). This is the most important day, and one witnesses the amazing trails over the ridge which acts like border of India and Nepal. The Sleeping Buddha and Everest will follow throughout the trail with no visual objection. Overnight Stay at Hut in Phalut.

After breakfast descending trek to Gorkhey (14Kms), through Rhododendron forest, this trail will be one of the most favourite trail for its amazingly beautiful greeneries and smell of the wet soil. After reaching Gorkhey, explore the amazing virgin village. The beauty of Gorkhey village will take a special place in the hearts of the traveler. One can opt to visit Samanden, a least popular virgin village, whose beauty would remind one to return again. Overnight stay at Homestay

Rest Day at Ghorkhey

After breakfast short trek to Bhareng. Then Drive to NJP.
Leave only footprints, take the memories and experience.

Booking Policy:

To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid seven days prior to the starting date.

One can pay the amount online(Net Banking, GPay, UPI ID). 

Details to be shared on request.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days before the trek date, full refund of the paid amount

  • 15 days before the trek date, 50% refund of the paid amount.

  • Cancellation less than 15days to the start date of the trek, no refund possible

  • In case Himalayan Passion cancels the trek or trip, full refund will be paid.

  • One has option to send another person on their behalf.
