About Pindari Glacier Trek
Pindari Glacier, one of the most popular treks in India is situated between two famous and yet beautiful snow capped mountains of Uttarakhand, that is Nanda Devi, the Mother of Uttarakhand and Nandakot in the Kumaon Himalayas region, of Bageshwar District of Uttarakhand. The river Pindar originates from this glacier which meet with Alaknanada River at the confluence of Karnaprayag. Pindari Glacier trek is one of the ancient trek in Himalayas, and everyone's bucket list which is paradise for trekkers. This trek is easiest compare to any other glaciers treks in India. The trek has a medium gradient throughout, the Pindari glacier itself is 3.2 Km in Length and 1.5 km in breadth. The trail has well defined paths, with only one minor pass crossing. The entire trail passes through the rhododendron forests, mountain ridges, streams and waterfalls. One could get hear some ancient mythological stories as well from the very old villages like, Khati, Dwali, Phurkiya and Kharkiya, having some settlements. On a clear day, Mt. Nandakhat, Mt. Nanda Devi east, Nandabaner, LaspaDhura, Nandakot is visible on the starting days. And when you reach the summit or the topmost point of this trek, Mt. Baljauri, Mt. Changuch is visible. The entire trekking route is beautiful and very scenic. In this trek route two other treks also fall, Kafni Glacier and Sundar-dunga Galcer trek whose route divert from Dwali. Kafni Glacier situated at the base of Mt. Nandakot. Best time to do Pindari Glacier is from April to June and from September to November, it is better to fully avoid the monsoon season.

Kathgodam to Khati (210 km drive, 8-9hrs, 1760 M)
Reporting at Kathgodam Railway Station or Bus stand and drive to Khati via Bageshwar, Almora. Almora is very beautiful hill station city, which attracts traveler in all season, then move to Bageshwar, which is also another beautiful hill station, the attraction of this district is Baijnath temple which dedicated to Lord Shiva and situated in the bank of Gomati River. After crossing Baijnath we reach our base Khati by evening. Complete the registration and briefing to be given by the Trek Leader. Overnight stay in Khati.
Khati to Dwali (13 km trek, 7hr, 2580 M)
Today is a long trek so after having a heavy breakfast. We will start our trek as early as possible. From Dwali another trail goes to Kafni Glacier trek which is 11 KM ahead. The route is moderate with ascends and descend with some land sliding zone, so be careful put your step. A significant part of today's trek is accompanied by Pindar Ganga River and the sound of gurgling of the river follows throughout, one have to cross wooden log bridges, and waterfalls. Dwali is a very beautiful place for camping. Overnight stay in camp.
Dwali to Phurkia Top (5 km trek, 4 hr, 3280 M)
Dwali to Phurkia trek route is steep ascending. In month of April to Mid-May this whole area is covered with snow, which makes the trek a bit difficult at that time. With constant gain in height the wind gets chilled. On a clear day Mt. Nandadevi and Mt. NandaKhat is clearly visible, en route one may spot Himalayan Ibex(Bharal) on the pasture lands, One of the most picturesque trail today takes the trekkers deep to the Pindar valley. Lunch will be served in the campsite, spend your leisure time exploring the surroundings and glacial formations. Phurkia is the last campsite of this trek.Sleep early so that we can start our trek early in the morning next day. Overnight stay at camp.
Phurkia – Zero point- Phurkia (12 km trek, 7 hr, 3680M)
We start trek very early in the morning for Pindari Glacier Zero point after early morning breakfast. Leave your Rucksack in the campsite, take a knapsack or a day pack with water bottle and packed lunch with you. The trek route not much difficult but due to gain in altitude the air gets thinner so consume enough water to remain hydrated. Once we reach Zero point we find the spellbound views of Mt Baljuri, Mt Panwali Dwar, Nanda Kot and full view of Pindari Glacier. After enjoying the beauty of the snow-capped mountain then visit
Pindari Baba Ashram take some rest here and then trek back to Phurkia. Overnight stay in Tent.
Phurkia to Khati Village (19 km trek, 7 hr)
Today we will have a heavy breakfast to cover a long distance back to Khati village most of the part of trek is part is descent with the same route which we have covered in the early days. Today is the longest day, but the trail is entirely downhill descent. Overnight stay at camps
Khati to Kharkiya to Kathgodam, (4 KM Trek, 1 hr, Drive 270 KM)
Today is the last day, after early morning breakfast star trek to cover 4KM trek in 1 hr. Then drive to Kathgodam. Our service ends here, leave only footprints take only sweet Himalayan Memories.

Booking Policy:
To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid in cash when you reach the basecamp, to be collected by the team leader.
