Drive from Kathgodam to Gogina (233 km)

  • Early morning reporting at Kathgodam Railway station, then Start your journey with a scenic drive through winding roads, picturesque villages, and lush greenery to Gogina. Gogina, a quaint village, serves as the trek’s base camp. Briefing and registration to be completed by every trekkers and participants. Overnight stay at Gogina, in Homestay.

Trek from Gogina to Namik Village 4Km. (4-5 hrs.)

  • Begin your trek to the charming Namik Village which is about 4 kilometres, known for its ancient temples, waterfalls, and local Kumaoni culture. Overnight stay at Camp in Namik Village.

Namik Village to Balchhand Kund or Thala Bugyal (8 KM.)

  • Ascend through dense forests and alpine meadows to reach Balchhand Kund or Thala Bugyal. These serene locations are perfect for camping under a star-studded sky. Enjoy the amazing campsite with stunning views and relax yourself in the laps of the nature in Kumaon Himalayas

Thala Bugyal to Thal top 2Kms. then to Ranthan Kharak for 5Kms. and Return to Thala Bugyal.

  • Today is the important day of the trek, get up early morning after early breakfast pack your lunch and get ready for trek to Thal Top, then ascend to Ranthan Kharak, the trek’s high point, offering panoramic views of the Kafni Glacier, Khaliya Bugyal, and other towering peaks Witness breathtaking views of the highest peaks in India, such as Nanda Devi, Sunanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Mt. Mrigthuni, and the Panchachuli Range, creating a stunning backdrop for your trek. After soaking in the beauty, return to Thala Bugyal for the night. Overnight stay at camp.

Thala Bugyal to Namik Village

  • Descend back to Namik Village, retracing your steps through picturesque trails and interacting with friendly locals. Overnight stay at camp.

Namik Village to Gogina

  • Complete your trek by descending to Gogina, Enjoy the rest of the day with trek mates, spend the leisure time in the heart of Kumaon marking the end of the trekking portion. Overnight stay at Homestay.

Drive from Gogina to Kathgodam

  • A scenic drive back to Kathgodam concludes your Ranthan Kharak adventure. Expect to reach Kathgodam by 7PM, plan your further travel plans accordingly, we will leave you to Kathgodam railway station marking the end of Ranthan kharak trek. Booking Policy:

To book your trek, you need to pay 30% of the trek fees as advance. Rest 70% to be paid seven days prior to the starting date.

One can pay the amount online(Net Banking, GPay, UPI ID). 

Details to be shared on request.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 30 days before the trek date, full refund of the paid amount

  • 15 days before the trek date, 50% refund of the paid amount.

  • Cancellation less than 15days to the start date of the trek, no refund possible

  • In case Himalayan Passion cancels the trek or trip, full refund will be paid.

  • One has option to send another person on their behalf.
